Pippa Grant wanted to write books, so she did.

Before she became a USA Today and #1 Amazon bestselling romantic comedy author, she was a young military spouse who got into writing as self-therapy. That happened around the time she discovered reading romance novels, and the two eventually merged into a career. Today, she has more than 40 knee-slapping Pippa Grant titles and nine published under the name Jamie Farrell.

When she’s not writing romantic comedies, she’s fumbling through being a mom, wife, and mountain woman, and sometimes tries to find hobbies. Her crowning achievement? Having impeccable timing for telling stories that will make people snort beverages out of their noses. Consider yourself warned.

A native of Long Island, New York, Mark Guggenheim practiced law at one of Boston’s most prestigious firms before being hired on the writing staff of David E. Kelley’s Emmy-winning show about Boston attorneys, The Practice. Guggenheim then joined Law & Order, where he wrote for three seasons before moving on to the critically acclaimed series Jack & Bobby and the ratings juggernaut CSI: Miami.

Guggenheim continued to work in television, achieving the rank of “showrunner” with his first series, Eli Stone, co-created with Greg Berlanti. Berlanti and Guggenheim would continue to work together on multiple shows, including Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow.

For nearly 10 years, he collaborated with Guillermo del Toro on the Emmy Award-winning and BAFTA-nominated Tales of Arcadia trilogy for Netflix, which culminated with the Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans movie in 2021. His feature film work also includes writing screenplays for Robert Downey Jr. and Jake Gyllenhaal.

A life-long comic book fan, Guggenheim has been writing comics professionally for twenty years, working on titles for both Marvel Comics, DC Comics, and original creator-owned works. In August 2024, he published his second novel, In Any Lifetime, which has received over 6,800 reviews on Amazon (average: 4/5).
