PPWC is a 3-day fiction-writing conference for writers of all levels, indie and traditionally published, featuring a variety of craft and business workshops, acquiring editors/agents and well-known authors across a variety of genres.

Have a workshop idea for conference?

Pitch it before September 29.

The more workshops you can teach, the more likely you’ll be chosen for faculty. We pay hotel, food and conference fees plus a small honorarium, which is scaled to the number of workshops you teach.

If you submitted last year and want the committee to consider your class again for 2024, contact Karen Fox.

Attendee Registration ($530.00)

Early Bird Nov 1 -Jan 15 (10% off for members with membership verification)
Regular Jan 16 – Mar 31 (10% off for members with membership verification)
Late Apr 1 – Apr 10 (10% off for members with membership verification)

A virtual option will not be offered this year.

Yes, there is a payment plan option. Options will be available on the registration page.

Your conference registration fee includes Friday’s welcome lunch and dinner, Saturday’s continental breakfast, keynote luncheon and banquet, and Sunday’s continental breakfast and farewell luncheon. Additional Saturday banquet tickets are available for purchase for spouses and guests. Faculty members will host lunch and dinner tables, so you have the opportunity to chat with that editor, agent or author you’ve been dying to meet.

Each meal offers a meat or vegetable option. Allergy/special diet meals are available.

We recommend you dress in layers for your own comfort. Business casual if you have a pitch appointment. Our theme this year is western, so jeans, boots, button downs and hats are definitely encouraged. Our banquet Saturday night is typically more formal, so feel free to dress up.
